GENERALITY
1. In the case of request to return any product, this must be authorized by RayTalk with a RMA number (Return Merchandise Authorisation).
2. The RMA number is furnished from the RayTalk’s Technical Division only after an analisys of the technical problems by e-mail or by telephone.
3. The RMA number will be communicated officially from the RayTalk tecnical division by FAX and/or E-mail. Other types of communication will be considered not valid
4. Please note: shipment without RMA number will be considered not valid.
5. The RMA number identifies univocally the product that will re-enter in the RayTal’s Laboratories and will be used to start the repair procedure.
6. The RMA number is valid for 15 days. The goods sent with an expired RMA number will be returned to the sender.
7. The RMA number must be specified on the bill of parcel, in the RMA form, and on the packaging of the shipment. The RMA form must be filled up in all its parts, stamped, signed and put in the original device packing. It is important describe in detail any type of noticed anomalies; this will be of service to the technical department as trace for the search of malfunctions.
8. The RMA number must be noticeable also outside the shipment packing, so that people in charge of the storehouses can sort the parcel at a glance. The RayTalk Technical Support cannot answer for delays caused by lack of noticeable RMA on the shipping packing.
9. The there-and-back shipping costs, even for the devices repaired under warranty, will be charged to the customer. Parcels with unpaid carriage will be returned to the sender.
10. All materials with a regular RMA number will be acceptred and controlled from the RayTalk’s Laboratory.
11. It is exclusive competence of the RayTalk Laboratory establish if the product meets the warranty clauses.
12. For the repairs under warranty won’t be debited the laboratory expenses. In any case all carriage costs will be charged to the customer.
13. All repairs which aren’t under Warranty must be paid and are subject to the Regulation of the RayTalk’s laboratory.
PREPARATION OF THE SENDING MATERIALS
In order to check and test the damaged device, please send all its parts included eventual accessories (power supplier, antennas, cables ect.) as contained in its original pack. If these parts and accessories will be no handed in, RayTalk won’t answer for damages manifested immediatelly after the assistance, because they would be caused by one of the not sent and consequently not tested parts or accessories.

SHIPPMENT FROM THE RAYTALK ASSISTAINCE DEPARTMENT TO THE CUSTOMER
The goods repaired under warranty will be sent with the carriage requested from the client. In all other cases will be used the GLS courier that has an agreement with RayTalk.The back shipping of the material from the assistaince division to the customer will be effected in FREE PORT debit on the invoice, with cash payment on delivery. The goods will be insured only if requested specifically.
PLEASE NOTE
RayTalk cannot be held responsabile for possible damages, thefts, or losses which can happen during the carriage to/from its own Seat. Therefore can be helpfull to insure the goods by the shippment in each way. If on delivery the packaging has some visible distortions wich can indicate damages on the inside materials this must be pointed out to the carrier immediately following the modalitiy indicated by him and reserving the right to accept. Also the missing correspondence of the parcel numbers or of the indications, as well as their loss, must be immediately notified to the carrier in accordance with the modality communicated by him; only in this case will be possible proceed as opposed to the carrier for a possible compensation.
WHY KEEP THE PACKAGING
Customers are reminded that the packaging is a important part of the warranty period. It is opportune to keep the packaging of all devices which have it. This is necessary for several reasons:
- because offen is requested in the warranty clauses;
- because wuthout a right packaging is problematic the shipping to the Assistaince Department which is effected (done) by courier for the most part of cases;
- because the most part of devices can suffer damages during the carriage and for this reason RayTalk provides also appropriate re-packaging modalities;
- because the electronic materials are sensitive to the static electricity and must be properly protected.
The absense of the original packaging and/or the missed observance of the re-packaging instructions, often present in the instruction manual, can bring about grave problems for the Warranty application. Moreover the missed application of the basic rules about the handling of the electronic materials will prove the incompetence of the use and will annul the Warranty. Particularly the devices sensitive to the static electricity must be treate with necessary precautions.
